He is the founder and Group CEO of the Fincredit Group and a former Managing Director of AAR Health Services. He has over 30 years’ senior management experience covering manufacturing, retail banking, healthcare and microfinance industries.
He sits on the Governing Council of CIS Kenya and is a former Vice Chairman of the Association of Microfinance Institutions of Kenya (AMFI).
Mr. Kariuki has also served on the global Youth Save Expert Advisory Board, a Washington D.C. based consortium and was at one time on the Board of MasterCard for the Middle East & Africa region.
He holds a BSc. Honours Degree in Applied Mathematics and an MBA from Warwick University, UK.
